Join Wedgwood Historical Association president Heather Todd for a tour of the Carter's stunning exhibition "The World Outside: Louise Nevelson at Midcentury." Ms. Todd will pass along insights she's gleaned from the Carter's curators and docents while working there as a gallery attendant. The exhibition consists of sculptures, prints and drawings spanning Nevelson's long career and gathered from museums around the world and will be closing on January 7.
We'll meet near the front desk and start with a brief introduction to the Leonardo Drew installation "Number 235T," which took inspiration from Nevelson's works. Then we'll head upstairs to see the Nevelson and finish up before 4:00 so you can spend more time at the Carter before they close at 5:00. Please, no food or drinks. Backpacks and umbrellas must be checked.
